Plumbing :
This residence has 6 bathrooms, which had the plumbing and fixture installation completed by Thermal Engineering. One bathroom was built as a wet room - bathtub and shower placed in the same room but not overlapping each other. The master bathroom also features a steam shower.
Thermal Engineering also handled the installation and set up of the water treatment system, including a water softening system. Additionally, plumbing was completed for a separate greenhouse watering system and a radon mitigation system.
HVAC :
The residence makes use of 4 separate HVAC systems. Each system comprises a two-stage AC unit and a two-stage furnace with variable fans. These systems provide heating and cooling to 7 different zones in the house. There are two recovery ventilators with independent controls, along with an integrated makeup air system. The garage is also heated by a separate gas fire heater.
Snowmelt :
7400 sq ft of snowmelt tubing guarantees the driveway and decks remain ice-free after big winter storms. This system uses an 800k BTU boiler providing heating for the system.
